The power supply sometimes causes interference with the T.V. or radio if they are used in conjunction with the warming product
In higher-frequency areas, the power supply is more prone to cause interference
The C-1.7, C-D5, C-D6, and C-D7 power supplies are designed to eliminate this problem. If you have one of these models, please try placing the T.V. or radio as far away from the power supply as possible, or simply do not use both devices at the same time

What is the Electricity use of the warming products? The warming pads use 61 watts per side, except for the full size which uses 82 watts
The warming blankets use 82 watts per side, except for the full size which uses 102 watts
When the controls and power supplies are in the off-mode, it consumes about 3 watts of electricity, which is lower than most night lamps consume
10 hour shut-off feature
Safety Scale-back feature – The blanket will sense when it’s overheating (when it’s bunched up/ sometimes if an extra blanket or comforter is used) and it will automatically reset itself to a lower temperature, or else it will automatically shut-off
Products use low-voltage, eliminating any electric magnetic fields/waves. This is currently the only low-voltage warming product that meets UL standards for “non-hazardous low-voltage”
The low-voltage cannot produce an electrical shock to the skin, however, static electricity is certainly possible

We no longer sell replacement parts
The warming blanket would have been purchased from Belk or Kmart retail stores between September 2002 and February 2003
On the “Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law” tag, it will read, “Shell made in China. Wired and Closed in U.S.A.”
If it reads any different from that, it’s not part of the recall
None of the low-voltage products are part of the recall at all. If you suspect your warming product of being part of the recall, please verify if you do or do not have a low-voltage product
Perfect Fit’s Customer Service Center (1-800-299-1378) only deals with warranty service on a defective product. For a refund, you would have to speak with the retailer that you purchased your warming product from
PFI will make exceptions depending on the situation and severity of your issue
-
There is a manufacturer’s five-year limited warranty on all the warming products
-

Depending whether or not your product is still in the warranty period, you may or may not have to purchase new parts or a new product
We recommend for you to check with the manufacturer of the pace-maker, although our low-voltage warming products do not emit any electromagnetic fields (EMFs)
Can I use my warming product on a waterbed, airbed, pull-out sofa, or a mechanically adjustable bed?
Do not use on a waterbed or airbed because the warming product may potentially melt the beds
You may use the warming product on a pull-out sofa or mechanically adjustable bed at your own discretion. Because of the adjusting of the beds, this could potentially wear out the heating elements inside of the warming products
**NEVER use commercial dryers at the Laundromat, nor should you iron the warming product**
Place the warming product into the dryer and make sure it has enough room to tumble freely
Dry on a low heat setting until dry
You can also line-dry the warming product
**All of our warming products are machine-washable and we DO NOT recommend for you to dry-clean these products nor do we recommend the use of bleach**
We currently do not have any washing instructions for front load washers, but you may try washing it on a delicate or gentle cycle
Disconnect all the cords
Place the warming product into the washer and fill the machine with warm water
Add just a small amount of detergent and let soak for 5 minutes (make sure you use a mild detergent that does not contain any bleach)
Agitate on the delicate or gentle cycle for two minutes, and spin on a normal speed
Fill the machine for a cool rinse, and agitate for one minute and spin
You may also hand wash your warming product, but do not twist to wring out the water, nor should you ever put your product through a wringer
There is a 3”-6” border around the blankets where there are no heating elements, which can be tucked in
DO NOT tuck in the connector pieces at the foot of the blanket
Make sure no wiring is tucked in-between the box spring and mattress

DO NOT send in your warming product without first contacting Customer Service
Just sitting on your warming product will not harm it
Any bedding you would normally use may be used with your warming product
Non-electric mattress pads (recommended to be used under the warming pad because the heat may not penetrate if an extra pad is on top of the warming pad)
Memory foam pads/ egg-crate foam padding (recommended to be used under the warming pad)
You should NOT use another warming blanket/pad on the bed at the same time as this one
Depending on the thickness or fabric of a non-electric blanket or comforter being used with a warming product, this may affect how the warming blanket heats. The warming product may not heat up to its full potential
The warming blanket/pad is designed to replace the heat your body loses as you sleep, so you do need to lay under the blanket or on the pad to feel its warmth
It produces enough warmth to keep you warm and comfortable while you sleep
You should spend several days experimenting with several settings, until you find your personal comfort level
The solid state control/power supply functions electronically so a small trickle of current is constantly being supplied to the control/power supply unit. This is normal
